Our specific project objectives include: Create Microlearning Resources to Engage Older Learners in Adult Education: The development of arobust toolbox of microlearning resources that adult educators can use to engage older adults back into education. Theseresources will be flexible and engaging, centred around topics such as digital skills, time and budget management, the arts,gardening, and hobbies. The development of a bespoke coaching programme for adult educators is aconcrete step towards building effective inclusion skills in adult educators with the express aim of increasing theircapabilities to become community outreach leaders. The aim of this programme is to build the skills of adult educators tobecome community coaches, providing them with the necessary skills for coaching older people to engage socially withothers in the community and engage with adult education as a form of combatting loneliness, as well as how to break downthe barriers that prevent entry to education for older adults such as social stigma, former experiences with formal education,and anxiety surrounding their own capabilities.
